Heading up the training and education program for 59Club since joining the company in 2013 has been an absolute joy to deliver. My passion for service and enhancing a customer experience through my 30 years in the golf industry has constantly been the driving force to succeed both individually and through the teams I have managed and worked with in.
Spending time in both private members clubs and commercial resorts has helped define what good can look like in different properties and to top it all off the 18 years at The Belfry being the most influential in understanding operations, sales and motivating teams to deliver at their best.
Having left the Belfry after reaching the role of Operations Manager and Head Professional, my current role within 59Club focuses specifically on the development of all aspects of service through any operational side of a business.
The team and I deliver specific training sessions to promote best practice and help to ensure that venues deliver exceptional levels of service to retain and promote business in golf and leisure.
The focus of Matt’s presentation in Phuket will be about how to deliver seamless service and utilising engagement skills to create opportunity! Vital skills in todays world where so much emphasis is placed on delivering excellent customer service.
